"A must. Wonderful evening from beginning to end. The Santi spritzer was absolutely phenomenal. The “fish and chips” was a gourmet experience. The fish was fried to perfection in a very crunchy crust. Not your typical. The fries are homemade and amazing. The zucchini was outstanding and my daughter’s lamb melted in your mouth and the thyme flavoring was perfect. The almonds, olives and bread were also delicious."

"Cute place to lounge and have a drink and bite to eat. Food was good. Salmon came with ample amounts of spinach. Service was quick and attentive. The tables were a bit tight together and whether you like it or not, you're taking in smoke from neighbor's tables. Two large TVs broadcast French Open."

"Our family went here twice including Christmas lunch. The restaurant is very well decorated with a great atmosphere in the back section. Our waiter on Christmas day really helped make the experience memorable by laughing and joking with us. For example he noticed my daughter liked the complimentary biscuits. So he brought her a huge handful and laughed with us when she kep eating them. We really enjoyed the food, especially the fish, octopus, truffle pasta and onion soup. Very reasonably priced for what you get. We'd definitely come again."

"I visited by myself in early November but I totally forgot to post it so here I am now. I ordered the poultry dish for lunch and it was amazing... the sauce and veges and the chicken was so good. All the staffs were friendly too. A good memory of my solo Paris trip Highly recommend to you all."

"We stumbled into La Pépinière for brunch and walked out wondering how anywhere else could possibly compete. The space strikes that rare Parisian balance of elegant without trying too hard, lively but never chaotic. It feels like the kind of place locals secretly hope tourists don’t discover. The light, the energy, the terrace buzz… it’s pure Paris. Now let’s talk about the food. Every plate was stunning without being fussy—fresh, beautifully composed, and actually flavorful (not just pretty-for-Instagram pretty). The kind of brunch that makes you slow down and savor it instead of rushing to the next stop. From perfectly cooked eggs to pastries that practically shattered on first bite, everything felt thoughtful and generous. And then, our waiter Sebastian. Sebastian elevated the entire experience from “great brunch” to “we’re telling everyone about this.” Attentive without hovering, charming without performing, intuitive without being intrusive. He anticipated what we needed before we realized it ourselves. Warm, polished, and effortlessly professional, exactly what hospitality should feel like. La Pépinière delivered the full package: atmosphere, execution, and service that makes you feel genuinely welcomed. If you’re brunching in Paris, this is not optional. It’s essential."

"Located in the heart of the historic Saint-Augustin district, La Pépinière is a quintessential Parisian brasserie that perfectly balances its rich heritage with a warm, "cousy" atmosphere. The Ambience The restaurant captures the elegance of the Haussmann era with a vibrant, modern twist. Inside, the design is a feast for the eyes: • Unique Lighting: Stunning, colorful tiered chandeliers with fringe detailing create a warm, inviting glow over the dining area. • Lush Decor: The interior is filled with greenery and botanical patterns, living up to its name ("The Nursery"). • Parisian Charm: From the classic terrace seating under a glowing awning to the velvet curtains and intimate candlelit tables, it feels authentically Parisian. The Culinary Highlights The menu offers a refined take on traditional French comfort food, focusing on fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. • The Main: A standout dish is the succulent roasted chicken served in a rich reduction with carrots and mushrooms, perfectly paired with a side of fluffy white rice. • The Wine: No meal here is complete without a glass of crisp Sancerre, which remains a top recommendation for any visitor. • The Sweet Finish: Their dessert selection is equally impressive, from artisanal ice cream and sorbet trios to indulgent French classics. Service & Spirit Despite its grand surroundings and historic location, the staff is remarkably friendly and welcoming. It is a place where you can enjoy high-quality Parisian cuisine without pretension, making you feel right at home in the middle of the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a friendly, stylish, and delicious experience in Paris. Nick #doctorfoodielondon"
